Halo Trial Host Tool v1 README

This is a BETA version of this tool. Not all options are included yet. I am still working on a way to kick/ban IP Adresses. I have found where I can do this, but not yet…

…have made it work. This will be a later option in version 2.

A NOTE TO EVERYONE

I am NOT a ‘hacker’. I am a programmer. This tool does not qualify as a ‘hack’ or ‘trainer’. Those kinds of programs are client-side which allow you to cheat in a game to win. This does not. This is a simple tool to help control your server much better. I have taken out alot of options that can be abused by users of this tool, so it is limited on use. Do NOT try to abuse this tool. I made it for you guys and it would be sad to see people abusing it.

HOW TO USE
————-

Download .zip file with the program in it. From there, extract the contents into any folder.

Open Halo Trial !FIRST! Then open the tool. If you do not open Halo Trial first, the tool will NOT work.

NOTE: The hotkeys work whether you are in-game or have it minimize. You must have the tool open at all times though.

OPTIONS
———

: : Host AFK : :

AFK [Away From Keyboard] is an option for hosts who cannot be at their computer. Many hosts get upset at “AFK killers”. This will fix that. If you want to go AFK, hold the CTRL button and press F1. This will make you on an ‘invisible team’. Once you get killed by another player or kill yourself, you will not respawn. The game thinks you are not on a team, so it doesn’t know how to make you respawn. You will instead see the “Waiting for space to clear” message until you come back from AFK. To come back from AFK, hold the CTRL button and press W. This will make you instantly respawn on Red Team, which is the default team host is on. Useful so you don’t get killed why you are away.

: : Freeze Players : :

This will allow you to freeze any player in game. You cannot freeze yourself however. When you open the tool, you will see a listbox on the left side which will read something like this:

When you open your sever and people start to join, minimize the game and press the refresh button. It will list the current players in the game. Now, beside each players name it says something like this:

«Player4 – CTRL + F4

What does this mean? Select the player you wish to freeze from the list. Now, look at what is beside the name you chose. If it says ‘«Player4 – CTRL + F4′, that means they are Player 4 and you need to hold the CTRL button and press the F4 button. Simple, eh? Now they are frozen in game and cannot move.

NOTE: Remember to refresh the list so you don’t freeze the wrong player!

When you freeze a player, he may be obnoxious and not leave. Just ignore him. He feeds off your anger, so don’t egg him on and yell at him. He is just a noob and is wasting his time, so don’t waste yours. He is frozen anyways, what can he do? Nothing.

Also note if you freeze a player and he leaves, his slot will be filled until you restart the match. Ex: Say you are hosting a server and its full. 8/8 players. Say Player4 is being obnxious and talking trash in your server. You decide to freeze him and he gets mad and leaves. Player4’s slot will still be filled. You will now have 7/8 players in game, but no one will be able to join, because the game still thinks he is in the server. All the tool does is freeze his player data and it stays that way until you restart the match. Once the match restarts, the player data will refresh and Player4’s slot can be  used again.

: : Flag Score Off : :

Flags will still be allowed to be taken, but when a player scores, his score and the team score will not increase. N00bs can still have the fun of scoring flags on you and you get the fun of laughing at them and killing them. Everyone wins.

: : Team Switch Off : :

This option is still in testing. Seems as though when players leave and enter constantly, the auto-balance is off set. This will work though so players cannot switch teams, anyway. Ever have those matches when everyone ends up on one team? It’s those n00bs, and this will stop it.

: : Infinite Grenades : :

Need to practice your grenade throwing? Here you go.

NOTE: This option effects ALL players in the server. You cannot undo this option unless you restart Halo. Even if you restart your server, it will still be enabled. We are working on a fix for this.

: : Infinite Ammo : :

I always hated running out at the worst times.

NOTE: This only works for HUMAN weapons. Plasma rifle/pistol, Flamethrower, and fuel rod are NOT infinite. Working on a fix for this.
