I still don’t understand the target group for this gadget. If you want something pocket sized without 3G – get an iPod Touch. If you want something more powerful and non pocketsized – get a netbook. What niche is this supposed to be filling?

Well the thing is, people (like myself) expected the iPad to be some revolutionary device with super new features like apple made it out to be. In reality, It has little or no more functionality than the iPhone and quite honestly isn’t worth getting if you can afford the iPhone.

All those things you mention are features even the most basic MP3 Players have these days, and yet apple still has yet to add them. BTW “operating system” phones, (WinMobile and Android for example) have drag n drop usb abilities.

And to answer your question about what it does have: Aside from listening to music, and watching video (all of which the iphone can do), the iPad has no use for me because it’s too big to take out anywhere and at home I already have a powerful computer.
